The Nuno Maki Sushi Tenugui is a playful Japanese cotton towel inspired by one of Japan’s most beloved foods – sushi. Featuring a charming illustration of neatly rolled traditional maki sushi, this tenugui brings Japanese everyday culture to the kitchen, dining table, or wherever a practical towel is needed.

Made from 100% lightweight and quick-drying cotton, it measures 33 × 100 cm and is wonderfully versatile – use it as a kitchen towel, hand towel, headscarf, or simply as a decorative accent. Its slim, lightweight design makes it easy to fold, carry, and use wherever you go.

Pre-washed in Japanese spring water, the Nuno Maki Sushi Tenugui becomes soft and absorbent while retaining the simple, practical character of a traditional Japanese tenugui.

Care Instructions

Machine wash up to 40°C using a gentle detergent and a low spin speed of up to 1200. Consider using a mesh laundry bag to prevent pulling. Wash with similar colors. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners. After washing, it is best to hang or tumble dry your towel on a low setting.
